About Us
While on vacation in Medellin Colombia, in 2005 the Founders of KUF were approached by a gentleman dedicated to feeding the families of “Los Toburios”, equivalent to the ghettos here in the States. Since then the Founders of KUF have fed hundreds of families and distributed hundreds of bags of groceries. Every year over 160 children receive a Christmas gift. In 2009 they decided to go public and created KIDS UNITED FOUNDATION for the purpose of feeding more families and building a school in the area, as education is not free in Colombia and many families forego education for food.
But the Lord had other plans for Kids United Foundation and the outreach project has been put on hold and as of late 2009, the Lord has taken KUF in a different direction, which is to stop the violence and save our children.
KIDS UNITED FOUNDATION is a 501(c) (3) Non-profit Organization dedicated to raising awareness on important family issues such as bullying, child abduction and teen safe driving.
We provide free counseling to any child or family in need. We not only work to empower kids to overcome bullying, we also lobby and advocate at the government and legislative level to speak up for kids that can't speak up for them selves.
Vision and Mission Statement
Our vision is that all children, youth and families reach their fullest potential in a safe and nurturing environment. KUF promotes and focuses on healthy minds, bodies and souls. We are enriching lives one child at a time.
Our mission is to create lasting, positive changes through the teaching of empathy and tolerance for diversity in young minds. KUF is dedicated to empowering young minds and teaching lifelong skills needed to face the challenges they encounter everyday.
